Bright lights, big city

November 7th, 2010

I was absolutely gobsmacked when I went out for the first time on the first night of a Glow Festival in Eindhoven. The streets were teeming with souls. Kids, grannies, posses of girlfriends, family groups, full-blooded Eindhovenaren and the International community were all out, enjoying some art. The intensity and quality of city events seem to be gaining strength and popularity too – or is it just me? Take a look at some of the impressions of the evening, and if you’re in the area between now (7th today) and 13 November, Eindhoven is well worth a visit when the sun goes to sleep. Eindhoven, city of light indeed.
