Muziekgebouw Frits Philips Eindhoven

Last week I interviewed one half of the great mind behind the redesign of the Eindhoven Music Hall, the Muziekgebouw Frits Philips – Miriam van der Lubbe. She and partner Niels van Eijk masterminded a thorough overhaul of the 18 year old space. From unifying the entrance with a grand glass foyer, to the ornate teacups and saucers to sip from in the intermission, the concert hall front and back stage areas are a delight for musicians and patrons of all stripes. I will get a look inside myself later today, at 5pm when the MADE members come together and enjoy a Joe Jackson concert.

But for those who can’t wait until the official opening on 9 October, sit back and listen to the stories Miriam has to tell in this, the first podcast by The Dossier! Click on the media player below.
